Bath and North East Somerset Council have published the Notice of Election for the Election of Mayor for West of England Combined Authority, which will be held on Thursday 1 May 2025. Please find attached a copy of the Notice of Election.
The publication of the notice of election determines the start of the pre-election period, which will last from Tuesday 25 March until the polling stations have closed on Thursday 1 May. During the pre-election period there are certain restrictions placed upon officers and members of local authorities and the way that their business can be conducted (e.g. meetings, consultations). Also attached, for your information, is a copy of the pre-election guidance , which has been circulated to Bath & North East Somerset Council officers and members.
