Before and after photographs of the grassland management clearance at Midsomer Norton Town Park.
Wellow Brook Walk and Midsomer Norton Town Park Meadows are having their autumn cut done by contractors. Grasslands are less common than both scrub and woodland and can contain many rare and endangered species. If grassland is left unmanaged, it will eventually develop into scrub with the loss of flowering species. This is why we are mowing and removing cuttings over the autumn months.
Please be mindful when contractors and machinery are on site, and take care to keep dogs on leads.
